The Sit Spot~Finding Henry

One of the most transformative practices in my forest therapy journey has been the discovery of a special sit spot in the meadow, centered around a majestic tree named Henry. This simple act of sitting silently with Henry has opened up new dimensions of healing, introspection, and connection. Here, amidst the vibrant colors and soothing sounds of the meadow, I have found a sanctuary for my soul.

Henry stands tall and proud, a sentinel in the meadow that offers a sense of peace and belonging. As I approach my sit spot beneath his branches, I am greeted by the familiar sights and sounds that have become my companions on this journey. I look forward to my walk and sitting with Henry.

Sitting silently with Henry, I allow myself to fully immerse in the present moment. Daily life fades away, and I become attuned to the subtleties of the natural world around me. The practice of sitting silently in my sit spot with Henry has taught me the power of stillness. I learn to listen to the whispers of my heart and trust the wisdom that arises from within. Henry becomes a mirror, reflecting back the beauty and resilience that reside in my own soul. He has become a friend that I long to sit with.

Returning to my sit spot regularly, I have come to appreciate the profound impact of this simple practice. It is a reminder that true healing and connection often come from moments of stillness and presence. Through forest therapy, I have discovered that sitting silently in nature is not just a passive activity; it is an active engagement with the world and with myself.

Forest therapy, with its practice of finding and nurturing a sit spot, has enriched my life in ways I never imagined. It has shown me the power of silence, the beauty of nature, and the importance of nurturing my inner world. As I continue this journey, I carry with me the lessons of the meadow and the wisdom of Henry, forever grateful for the transformative power of nature and the healing it brings.
